A Novel Paradise: Follow Friday #1

First time participating in Follow Friday, hosted by parajunkee! :D

Today's question:

The magic book fairy pop out of your cereal box and says "you and your favorite character (from a book of course) can switch places!" Who are you going to switch with?

What a dilemma! I've wanted to be in the shoes of so many YA female protagonists, especially when they fall in love with the hot, absolutely perfect male lead.

So many choices, but my pick goes to Susannah (Suze) from Meg Cabot's The Mediator series! I'm not sure if I would regret it because having to meet random ghosts with their own intentions probably isn't the easiest job in the world. But Suze is one of my favourite heroines, ever. She's not just hilarious, witty and sarcastic...she also throws punches at guys, threatens popular girls on the first day of school, and isn't afraid to stand up for what she believes in! Her violence is actually pretty funny most of the time. Below Suze's tough-girl exterior also lies kindness and compassion, along with unwavering loyalty to her loved ones. I love Suze's family and friends, they're all so endearing!

The biggest reason why I'd want to be Suze, though...it has to be her ghostly love interest, Jesse (!!!) He's my ideal guy for sure; spanish, hottie (ghosts DO have abs!), intelligent and undoubtedly a gentleman. What more can you ask for!?

I know what you mean about It being hard to deal with the ghosts, there were a few leads I wanted to pick but then when I thought about the crap they deal with I was like "No, They can keep that life" haha. Andie Z: Oh my gosh, these are my BOOKS! There are no words for how much I love the Mediator series (and Jesse, of course). I read them way back when there were only four and they had those gorgeous covers with the eyes. I even used to write Mediator fanfiction, haha.
