Title: Rhymes With Cupid
Author: Anna Humphrey
Publisher: Harper Teen
Chocolate is the only good thing about this nauseating holiday.
Ever since my ex cheated on me, I've sworn off love. Too bad my new neighbor Patrick didn't get the memo. I'm not interested. Although, he is pretty cute. And sweet. And funny. Stupid Cupid! Point your arrows at someone else. . . . It's going to be a complicated Valentine's Day.
When I first picked up this book, I thought knew what I was getting myself into. A light-hearted, cute, corny, and sugary story that probably wouldn't keep me up all night wondering about the big questions in life. But this book turned out to be very heart-warming, well-written and not at all cheesy!
I won't bore you with my own summary, since the blurb pretty much says it all and it's not hard to guess what happens in the book. But what I can say is that this is a story about how love finds us when we least expect it. We can build our barriers, we can pretend we don't need love to be happy, but all that doesn't matter when you meet the right person, who is worth the risk of heartbreak. Sure, maybe love and life don't always turn out so well as it does in novels like this, but it doesn't hurt to have a bit of hope and optimism. Rhymes with Cupid was a romantic yet meaningful book and it totally gets my thumbs up!
So maybe this book isn't exactly as fluffy as it is. Anyone who feels a bit jaded about affairs of the heart should really try Rhymes with Cupid; a sweet read that will definitely bring a smile to your face. Now, where on Earth could my Patrick be?!

Just a question, how did you get the blue highlighting behind your writing? Looks really cool :)
