The Time Will Come #1

So here's my very first meme-The Time Will Come hosted by Books for Company! It's a meme happening every Thursday, focusing on books on your bookshelf that you always meant to read, but never managed to get down to.

The day will come when I will finally turn the pages of...

Title: Clockwork Angel (Infernal Devices #1)
Author: Cassandra Clare

I know, I know. I've heard SO MANY good things about the Infernal Devices, and every Mortal Instruments fan I've met has told me about how much they enjoyed this book. I loved The Mortal Instruments and I was initially looking forward to reading this series as well, but you know when you just don't feel the reading urge for a certain novel? It's not the book's fault. It's mine. But I hope I'll finally stop thinking, "Never mind, it's always going to be there when I want it" before Clockwork Prince (Infernal Devices #2) is released in December 2011.

I've got this one yet to read too, though I haven't even read the Mortal Instruments yet, either :-/ Eeek!

Felicia

HAHA I can't urge you to read this when I haven't even done so myself, but do read The Mortal Instruments! I've even re-read it more than once(:

Sally@Always Lost in Stories

This is a good book- I hope you enjoy it when you get a chance to read it. It's a bit different from The Mortal Instruments because it's set in Victorian London, but I liked it.

GABY

I haven't read The Mortal Instruments series...hehe xD I guess I will read them ASAP.

The Slowest Bookworm

Oh no! I have I Am Number 4 that Jodie has put in her post AND this one too sitting unread on my shelf.

It has such a pretty cover :)

Amber

I can understand why you don't want to dive into this one until the sequel is out. I'm generally the same way. Like you, I like The Mortal Instruments series but haven't gotten to this one yet.

Ahhh I love Cassandra Clare, but I just didn't love this one, unfortunately. I hope you do, though! :)

Felicia

@Sally: Haha I like books set in the Victorian era just as much as those set in modern times!:)

@Gaby: Yup you should hehe, the 4th book was out recently!

@The Slowest Bookworm: I loved the movie for I Am Number Four!! Haha we should start reading our books soon ^^

@Amber: Haha funny how our mind works! Hope it will be as good as TMI:/

@Jodie?: LOL I thought the cover was kind of cool! But it's mainly because of the guy on it (ahem)

@Melissa: Oh man I'm sorry to hear you didn't like it. Its hard to beat TMI I guess!(:

Steph

This book is actually really great. It's a fresh outlook on TMI yet sooooo different. It's awesome :)

Felicia

@Steph: Wow you make it sound so wonderful haha. I think The Time Will Come very soon!

Laine

I also loved the cover i always like it when the face is not really showing in the cover,Its mysterious plus I find it really challenging to read, i like it better than the cover of the The Clockwork Prince. thanks for dropping by im following you now! hope to see you too on my blog next time! x

Felicia

@Laine: I know! Sometimes when you can't see the face properly, it gives the cover a more mysterious and alluring feel :D I liked the cover for Clockwork Prince but yep, this one's way nicer. Thanks for the follow!
